Emanuel has been a tour guide on Kili since 2008 – with over a decade of experience, he has taken visitors on all the routes to the summit. Having summited over 180 times himself, Emanuel holds the record for the guide who has led the most guests on Mt Kilimanjaro, and has a 97.5% summit success rate. He has studied broadly on mountain sicknesses caused by altitude and weather, and been awarded for saving climbers who have succumbed to such illnesses. Emanuel is a Wilderness First Responder and certified for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. Together with his team, we will be provided with the best support by far on Kili, and catered for any needs ranging from specific dietary requirements to private tents and toilets. Emanuel is super strong and is also a long-distance runner, having completed the Kilimanjaro marathon and half-marathons before and will help you organize visits to all the best places in Tanzania after your climb.
